Many people who choose to come to the United States are looking for temporary admittance. They may be visiting relatives for an extended time. They can be students spending a year abroad. Or they might need to temporarily relocate for employment purposes.

Obtaining a Non Immigrant Visa

Temporary non immigrant visas, with very few exceptions, do not allow a way to gain permanent residency in the United States. Whether you are a student or worker, when your task or program is complete you will need to return to your home country.

A majority of the non immigrant visa clients we work with are still overseas. When contacted, we discuss your needs and explore all possible visa options. Often, we find that a combination of visas will get accomplish the end result you are looking for.

After making a decision regarding appropriate visas, we assist you by preparing necessary forms and other paperwork. By the time you visit the consulate, everything is completed.

Employment-based Petitions

There are several visa options available to those with qualifying employment opportunities in the United States. These include:

  • H category visas for temporary employment, either skilled or agricultural workers
  • TN visas allow Canadian and Mexican residents temporary work under NAFTA
  • EB-1 permits skilled workers who has to a professional degree to work
  • O visas allow someone with extraordinary abilities (arts, science, sports, etc.) to continue their work
  • J-1 permits exchange visitors to participate in a designated program
  • R-1 allows religious works to continue their vocation
