My mother and I have gone through the process of emigrating to the US. Additionally, I have many family members who have emigrated to the US, Canada and Europe. So as a result, whenever a client comes into my office, I treat them in the same manner I wish to be treated or as I would want my family to be treated. Before a prospective client leaves my office, they have the assurance that they have selected someone who will never abuse their trust, because that is extremely important to me. Biographical Info:
Born in Jamaica and emigrated to the US in 1985. After completing High School in New York, I attended Rider University in Lawrenceville New Jersey, where I graduated with a BA in Philosophy in 1994. After taking 4 years off to enter the work force, I then attended the Massachusetts School of Law, where I graduated with a JD in June 2001 and was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in January 2002.
I am a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association ("AILA") and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
Since 2002, I have been practicing immigration law, handling all immigration litigation matters before the Immigration Courts Nationwide and the Board of Immigration Appeals; the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services; the Federal Court of Appeals in the First, Second, Third and Fifth Circuits; the US District Court of Massachusetts, for clients residing throughout the Massachusetts and Nationwide. In addition, my litigation experience includes handling family law matters before the Probate and Family Courts throughout Massachusetts.
Primary areas of practice: Family and Employment based Immigration, WAVA, Deportation and Removal, Citizenship and Naturalization, Divorce, Guardianship & Adoption, Child Support Modification and Personal Injury.
